She's Growing!!!

Well, she's still tiny but Kylie is just now starting to outgrow her preemie clothes. Her newborn clothing fits well, but she's still a little small for the 0 - 3 months sizes. She is eating a lot more too! At first Kylie would sleep 6 hours between feedings at night, but now it's about 3 or 4 hours. Hopefully she'll get through this growth spurt soon so we can get some solid sleep! Mommy can't ever decide what to put on her because all of the clothes are so cute! Mommy guesses that she's still under 6 pounds, but who knows? Our next Doctor appointment is October 9th and we're sure she'll grow quite a bit more before then! Our hope is that she can start fitting into the 0 - 3 months clothes because we've got a really cute outfit for her to wear to her showers!!!
Kylie went on her first walk with mommy, daddy, and Casper. All of the neighbors wanted to see her as we walked around the circle. There are so many little kids that can't wait to play with her. Mommy has taken Kylie out of the house on a few short trips. We've been to church, the grocery store, and to Target. Kylie sleeps through all of the trips and everyone just adores her! I plan to take Kylie to a nearby park a few days a week to walk. I haven't mastered the dog and the baby by myself - so we'll have to save those for when daddy is around!
Kylie is starting to be awake more often. She loves to look at mommy and daddy and she loves the black and white curtains in her nursery. She's actually starting to enjoy her baths a little more - maybe it is better since her umbillical cord fell off. We read books on a daily basis and Kylie enjoys staring at the pictures.
We are taking Kylie on Monday to get her pictures taken. Please look for her birth announcement soon - we're so excited to share our news with everyone! We're also taking her to visit her great grandma in Bowling Green next week. That will be a really special visit for us all.

Jamey, Kylie is so beautiful! I enjoyed reading your post. It took me back to when Hannah was first home and we had started to settle into our routine!
