Restoring Faith

This picture is not really relevant to my posting, I just thought our blog needed another picture ;-)

Well, things are returning back to normal for us. We've even been making more progress over the last week with the adoption. We are still in contact with 2 birth mothers - one due in Oct. and another in Dec. The one one in Oct. we're waiting for her to decide if adoption is her best option. If she decides to do adoption, she has already told us she will pick us. The one in Dec. has it narrowed down to 3 families and we're not sure when they are planning on making a decision. We also completed 3 personal scrapbooks and sent them off to the agency that did our home study in KC. They are going to start presenting our profiles to birth mothers - so now we have 2 agencies working for us.

With all the ups and downs of adoption and the crazy people we've run into - it is definitely hard to stay hopeful. But there are sincere, honest birth mothers out there that need a good family for their child. We know this will happen for us - it's just a matter of time. In the meantime, we've decided to get as much sleep as possible because Lord knows we won't be doing that once the baby comes!
